Besides being famous for KPop, Korea also produces a lot of quality movie every year, even some of them got adapted to the Hollywood, for eg: parasite, sky castle, etc. Usually people avoid films that makes you cry or sad and prefer to watch films that can provoke laughter or have happy ending. Apparently there are many people who also prefer to watch emotional story and emphasis sadness.

The most emotional part of it all was when he was finally able to meet his younger brother in his old age. Due to the hardships of post-colonial life, Deok Su did everything she could to protect her family despite the harsh conditions she had to escape from the most terrible events.

My Brilliant Life revolves around the relationship between the awkward Dae-soo and Mi-ra, a beautiful girl with a dirty mouth. Because of a teenage accident, Mi-Ra was forced to conceive when she was 17 years old. Opposed by the family, the two chose to live their own lives as a married couple and quit school. But fate says otherwise, their first child who is very coveted, Ah-reum, born with a diagnosis of genetic disorders have experienced progeria, which makes her age 10 times older than normal. A few years later, Ah-reum is sixteen years old, but her body looks like an eighty-year-old grandfather. Ah-reum then writes a story of how her young parents fall in love, and hopes they will give her a gift on her seventeenth birthday.
