OVERSEAS ACTIVITIES FROM KPOP & JPOP TO LOOK OUT FOR in 2019

1. KCON LA
You might met your favorite idol groups in Lost Angeles, August 15 to 18, 2019. Some of the line up including: NU’EST, AB6IX, EVERGLOW, VERIVERY, Stray Kids, MAMAMOO, MOMOLAND, ONEUS, ATEEZ, Chungha and IZ*ONE. It will be held in Los Angeles Convention Center and Staples Center. Concert tickets will go on sale on July 12 at 12 p.m. PT, while convention tickets will go on sale on July 15 at 12 p.m. PT.
2. KCON NY
With years of success of KCON, the event will be held not only in Los Angelese, but in New York as well. From K-Pop, K-Beauty to K-Food, K-Drama, K-Culture and so on, fans are going to enjoy this fun-filled event. The line up include: ATEEZ, EVERGLOW, IZ*ONE, NU’EST, THE BOYZ, TXT, AB6IX, fromis_9, (G)I-DLE, SEVENTEEN, SF9, Stray Kidsm MAMAmOO, MOMOLAND, ONEUS, ATEEZ, ChungHa and VERIVERY
3. AKB48 JOIN CONCERT
According to Chinese media Yes Entertainment, AKB48 and their 6 overseas sister groups (JKT48, BNK48, MNL48, Team SH, Team TP, SGO48) will hold a joint concert AKB48 Group Asia Festival 2019 in Shanghai at National Exhibition and Convention Center, Shanghai on 24 August 2019.
4. NCT GLOBAL TOUR
NCT 127 will perform in Mexico City’s Teatro Metropolitan on May 21 before hitting Russia’s Ice Palace in Saint Petersburg on June 26 and Megasport Sport Palace in Moscow on June 29, according to SM Entertainment. Starting on April 24, the boy band will perform at a total of 12 concerts in 11 American and Canadian cities including Miami, Houston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Vancouver and Toronto.
5. BLACK PINK WORLD TOUR
BLACKPINK already performed in sizable venues throughout North America, including several arenas. In the 2nd part of 2019, Blackpink would still do their tour, in Bangkok (impact arena), Tokyo (zozo marine), Fukuoka (fukuoka dome), and even tokyo dome.
6. BTS WORLD TOUR
The Love Yourself tour will follow the release of next month’s Love Yourself: Tear album, which is slated to be released on May 18. The concert series will kick off with two shows in Seoul on August 25 and 26, then head to Los Angeles for three shows at the Staples Center during the first week of September. The record-breaking group will also perform in four other Stateside cities plus one Canadian one throughout September and October before heading to London, Amsterdam, and Berlin.
A total of 22 shows are currently announced.
