Megaupload founder arrested by SOPA / PIPA

Megaupload is no more. One of the world's largest movie and music file-sharing sites was shut down by federal employees on Thursday. Federal authorities are calling it one of the largest criminal copyright cases ever brought. The official charge Megaupload is being accused of: international enterprise based on Internet piracy. The site was one of the most popular locker services on the Internet, allowing users to anonymously transfer files like music and movies. Many media companies have accused the site of abetting copyright infringement, and the grand jury indictment charges that Megaupload caused $500 million in damages to copyright owners and made $175 million through selling ads and premium subscriptions. News of the shutdown quickly spread across Twitter, where people compared it to a SOPA action.

Almost instantly after the shutdown, the hacking group Anonymous called it "the single largest Internet attack in history." They retaliated by temporarily bringing down a number of websites, including those of the Motion Picture Association of America, the Recording Industry Association of America, Universal Music Group, BMI, and half a dozen others. The hacking collective Anonymous is also taking credit for temporarily disabling the Justice Department's website as well as the FBI's. They were helped by curious users who unknowingly overwhelmed those sites by clicking on a mysterious "Operation Megaupload" link that was spread via Twitter. Anonymous posted this message on Twitter: "Let's just say, for #SOPA supporters their #SOPAblackout is today."
There's more to this story. The saga does not end with Anonymous's hacks. What may be the most ironic twist in the story is the identity of Megaupload's CEO. It is music producer Swizz Beatz, real name Kasseem Dean, who happens to be the husband of Grammy-wining artist Alicia Keys. While Beatz was not named in the indictment, four others, including Megaupload founder Kim Dotcom, real name Kim Schmitz, were arrested in Auckland, New Zealand. In the Department of Justice's 72-page indictment: 10 flat-screen TVs, 60 data servers, and more than 20 cars, including a Rolls-Royce Phantom with the license plate "God." The indictment accuses the suspects of being members of "the Mega Conspiracy, a worldwide criminal organization whose members engaged in criminal copyright infringement and money laundering on a massive scale."
The case came a day after Internet companies and websites such as Google, WordPress and Wikipedia protested about the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and the PROTECT IP Act (PIPA).
An hour after the indictment was announced, the Justice Department's website, www.justice.gov, came under cyberattack. Anonymous, the hacktivist computer group, claimed responsibility.
Asked about the claims by Anonymous, a Justice Department spokeswoman said, "The Department of Justice Web server hosting justice.gov is currently experiencing a significant increase in activity, resulting in a degradation in service. The department is working to ensure the website is available while we investigate the origins of this activity, which is being treated as a malicious act until we can fully identify the root cause of the disruption."
The Justice website appeared to be back online this evening, but with limited graphics and pictures.
The FBI's website also appeared briefly to be inaccessible, but later came back online.
The attacks appeared to be distributed-denial-of-service attacks, rather than hacks in which data was compromised or lost. Distributed-denial-of-service attacks flood Internet sites and computer networks with requests for information and commands, making the networks and websites unavailable to computer users.
Members of Anonymous were sending around a link that appeared to help contribute to the attack, with some computer users sending requests to FBI.gov and justice.gov when they clicked the link.
Websites for the Recording Industry Association of America, Universal Music and the Motion Picture Association of America also appeared to be unavailable or under attack.

When it comes to plagiarism in Japan, perhaps no manga have been able to surpass the popularity of the "Four Heavenly Kings of Plagiarism" (パクリ四天王).

The prestigious title of "The King of Plagiarism" was given by fans to four well-known series, they are: Samumrai Deeper Kyo (Later replaced by Monster Hunter), Flame of Recca, Black Cat and Rave Master.

Samurai Deeper Kyo began serialization in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine in 1999, a time when Magazine's second golden age was coming to an end with the conclusion of popular series like Love Hina and GTO (After Shonen Jump's dominance faded in the mid-90s after series like Dragon Ball, Yu Yu Hakusho ended, Shonen Magazine managed to take Jump's throne between 1996-2001 with strong series like Love Hina and Kindaichi Case Files). Magazine editors concluded that their success was due to Magazine's appeal to different kinds of readers (Kindaichi Case Files to female readers, GTO to teens, etc.), so they tried to pull in the doujinshi audience as well by taking in Akimine Kamijyo, a former doujinshi artist. But what to draw? At the time, Rurouni Kenshin was Jump's flagship series. Since Magazine has never serialized a samurai manga before, the next step was obvious.

After the first chapter of Samurai Deeper Kyo was published, fans immediately noticed uncanny resemblances between Kyo's story and Kenshin's. The editorial department received countless letters of complaint, and Kyo became one of the Kings of Plagiarism almost instantly.

Later, after Samurai Deeper Kyo's story began heading toward the supernatural/fantasy direction, Kyo's place in the "Four Kings" was replaced by Monster Hunter, a manga that was criticized for copying settings, designs and speeches from series like Berserk, Blade of the Immortals and Monster. Due to Monster Hunter's relatively low popularity, however, it never reach the level of fame Kyo did.

Rave, on the other hand, was aimed at a young audience. Back then Magazine's main readership was between 18-22, so most people would skip Rave, and those who read the manga are too young to be able to notice.

It wasn't until Rave was animated when people took notice. Many criticized Rave for copying One Piece's art (although the author himself said he copied from GetBacker's Rando Ayamine), and for copying Dragon Ball and Final Fantasy's location and character design. Some Rave spreads in particular where also accused of plagiarizing One Piece's (One Piece vol.11 pg.116 vs. Rave vol.2 pg.84).

As for Black Cat and Flame of Recca, both manga were accused of copying elements and art from popular shonen manga like Yu Yu Hakusho, Trigun, Rurouni Kenshin, and more. An entire site was dedicated to the topic of Black Cat and plagiarism, below are some sample comparisons.

There isn't any official announcement for SM company or their idols, yet the probability for this account to be real since a lot of famous K-pop idols are following this account too. For example: 2am Jokwon, 2am Seouleong, 2pm Chansung, 2pm Taecyeon, etc. She interact and chat with other senior artist too (which we know that they're close to SNSD Jessica), for example: Park Min Young and Ock Joohyun. Kpop singer often cover an English song in their live performances. Let's check out how fluent they are and their vocal skill when they're singing it in English.

Let's start from girls group. First is the strong contestant from 2NE1. They have done cover for Rihanna "Umbrella" and "Take a Bow" .

Second is the most popular girlgroup, SNSD. First, we have Tiffany who sing "Poker face" from the famous Lady Gaga.

Seohyun, fany's ex-roommate is next behind. She sang "Way Back Into Love" when she's playing the piano all by herself.

On a radio show, Taeyeon and Seohyun do a duet cover for "Because You Love Me" from Celine Dion.

Also, on the recent MBC Gayo Daejun, SNSD perform with a Christmas song, "Santa Baby" in a lovely stage and costume.

Next, We have the senior group from Brown Eyed Girls who sang "Uptown Girl" in Music Travel Lalala.

On other occasion, Brown Eyed Girl also do a cover for "You Raise Me Up" on Oct 21, 2009.

Let's take a look to the junior. We have f(x) who just recently appeared on Music Travel Lalala. Krystal, Luna, Suli sang "Don't Speak", a classic song.

For Boys group, Let's start from 2AM. They sang "If I ain't Get You" They show us their strong vocal there.

Next we have ss501 who sang "No Matter What" by Boyzone. It sounds good and their pronounciation is good as well.

SS501 have done a lot of cover before, once they perform in the still of the night and so much in love. Even the quality of video isn't good, but we can sense their vocal .

SS501 have performed "In a Rush" originally from Black Street. Well, they never stop to amuse you.

Last but not least, SS501 make a cover for "How Deep is Your Love" with the scatter of flowers petal.

Ok, Let's see another cover from other boys group. The famous DBSK or TVXQ have done so many cover before. One of its is this cover. It's an old video from DBSK and BoA, was covering One Sweet Day and O Holy Night+Hug.

Ok, of course they have improved so much from before. This is the newer video from TVXQ, was covering "You Raise Me Up" with a kid. It looks so adorable.

And on 2008 SBS Gayo Daejun, Xiah Junsu with Taeyang were doing a piano battle and Xiah performed "My everything" there.

Ok, now let's take a look to their junior from SM ent, Super Junior. They have done a cover of "Way Back Into Love" with some of SNSD members.

On the same program, Sungmin and Sunny make a duet and sang "Falling Slowly" together.

1. Using Karaoke Kit
2. Using VirtualDub's subtitler
3. Using Adobe After Effects & Photoshop
4. Using Kbuilder
5. The most common one, is using Aegisub

Karaoke effects is about showing off your skills, if you're just using someone else's effect you're missing the entire point of having an advanced effect. If you want to learn, there's several examples already included with Aegisub. It's rare for people to publish their effect scripts.

HOW TO REMOVE MUSIC BACKGROUD with 5 steps .

Software to use: Audacity

1. Open the Audacity program. Double-click on its icon, which can be found on your computer's desktop. Allow the program to load successfully before accessing any commands or functions in the program.

2. Load the song you wish to remove the background music from into the program. Click on the "File" tab on the navigation menu at the top of the screen. Select the "Open" option in the "File" drop box menu. Locate and select the MP3 audio file you wish to edit, and click on the "Open" button in the lower-right corner of the pop-up window.

3. Adjust the high pass filter. Highlight the entire wave pattern that will be displayed for the song. Click on the "Effects" tab in the top menu on the program's screen, and select the "High Pass Filter" option. The High Pass Filter will enable you to extract the song's vocals, which will eliminate the background music. Listen to the song, and move the lever to the left, at your own discretion, to extract the vocals. Click "OK" to configure your editing.

4. adjust the low pass filter. Move the low pass filter lever in the opposite direction to reduce the distortion in the wave pattern. Listen to the song closely to apply this editorial configuration at your own discretion. Click "OK" to apply your settings.

5. Save your work. Click on the "File" tab, and select the "Save As" option. When the Windows Explorer screen opens, type a name for your edited file in the data form. Click on the "Save As" option to confirm your action.

Deesser is a frequency range, a crossover utilizing lowpass and highpass filters.

Comparing Director to Flash

The differences between these two products has been the subject of much discussion, especially in the Director development community. M: You all have trained a long time before the debute. Which one of you has had the longest training?

Jess: I did....started when I was 5th grade.

Jess: About 7 years.

M: Wasn't there anything like....you were about to be in a group (that debuted earlier) but someone else took

part of the group instead of you? or something like that.

TY,Jess: Um....We are not too sure.

M: That's one of the top secrets isn't it?

M: I am very curious on how the team, SNSD, got formed. How did that happen? Who were the first member of the team?

TY: We didn't go like, "Let's pick members", but the students take part in dancing training, singing training, or launguage study in the same class. Then, SM entertainment held a ShowCase for some competition. For that purpose,

some people got teamed up with others. [Somehow] the current SNSD members had matching images, and had various talents in many different areas, so in the end, the SNSD was made.

M: I see. Is there anyone who is interested in other areas like acting in here?

Jess: After training some more, I'd like to try acting. I don't think I will be up for Drama, movies or anything like that, but I want to try maybe sitcoms(comedy).

M: What kind of character do you want?

Jess: Someone who has very similar personality as mine.

M: Can you do something really hardcore which may damage your current image?

Jess: That.......that.....

[Tiff boos]

M: Well, it's comedy, so don't you have to make fun of yourself?

Jess: I can......I can....do it....with my style. I am confident that I can make people laugh using my own style.

Tiff: I know what you are talking about. I saw it too.

M: I am a bit curious. People say that you are a little bit slow on action. Is that true?

Tiff: I have an excuse for that particular picture. That day, moving.......um....there were a lot of events on that day.

We were going back and forth from place to place. Because it was an outside event, we had to change our clothes inside our car.

But, we had only a little break between each event...so we were running out of time and uh....

Jess: so that's why you forgot our dance moves?

Tiff: Yes. Just like what TY said earlier. We practiced together for about one and half year, but the members were not set. So, when they told me the members were decided we were like "Let's practice harder"...tears came down....

TY: You miss your dad, don't you?

Tiff: Yea I miss alot, especially thesedays...

TY: Well, when we decided the team name, we were like "wait a sec, wasn't there a song called SNSD?".

So we already knew this song existed and it was planned.....

Tiff: It was planned before our debute (that we were going to sing SNSD)...

TY: Yup..it was planned.

M: The song perfectly fits your image. Even more so, the lyrics describe what SNSD is.

You had a collaboration stage with Mr.Lee a while ago, right? I saw it then. How was it?

TY: It was a great honor for us to stand on the same stage with him because we respect him so much.

He always gives kind remarks on our performances every time we meet him, and...

Tiff: He treats us like his own daughter. We thank him and love him.

M: That's so kind of him. What does he say about SNSD, Jessica?

Jess: He told us that, he likes the new SNSD very much, and greets us with kind smile everytime.

M: The album was released in the midst of your promotion activities for the first single, ITNW. How did you find

time to record the first album when you were so busy promoting ITNW?

Jess: In the day time, we promoted ITNW, and in the evening, we recorded our songs and practiced dancing.

We didn't have much time to spare as we did with ITNW, but we shortened sleeping time to make up for it.

We did our best.

Tiff: SNSD always try their best.

M: I can see from your performances that you are trying your best. I know from my experience how hard it is to record and promote at the

same time. My heart aches when I picture you girls going through all that hardship.

In the first album, there is a song composed by Kangta, isn't there?

TY: That's right. Kangta gave us a song that fits our image. The song is about a couple that has a 10 years of age

difference.

M: It was a duet with TY, right?

TY: Right, I was so honoured that I sing a duet with Kangta.

M: Well then, since the song was composed by Kangta, he must have guided you when recording.

TY: Yeah.

Tiff: That's sooo nice.

M: Oh, then, other members didn't participate in the recording?

Tiff: We wanted to see but,

Jess: We had other things to do...

Tiff: and had to practice.

[A lot of things they wrote in the Rolling Paper are e-slangs or "teenage talk". Some of them is near impossible to translate without changing their meaning,

well, for a noob like me at least. This is the best part of the whole show, but unfortunately I did very sloppy job at it.

Well I skimmed most of the messages and they all come down to "You are pretty", "I am proud of you".

Moving onto the next person Sica sica Jessica.

Tiff: Who is that?

M: Who is that person you want her to be in your room?

Jess: mmm I don't have anyone like that.

M: "Just two of us."

Tiff: I think I know who this is...

Jess: She is my roommate. I think it's her.

Tiff: Their beds are placed right beside each other. You can think that they sleep on a single bed.

TY: Tete is my nick name. When I was born my mom named me Taeyeon, but my brother, who was 1 years old, couldn't pronouce it so he said Tete.

I have been called as Tete since then.

Tiff: When I first heard Tete, I started to call her by that name too.

WALKTHROUGH ACTION 04
As always, when you start a new action, you must talk to the secretary.

She told you that you need to bring your Handhphone and Sunglasses along with you. You can find it in your desk and in the office canteen. You may also meet with Kyuhyun and Leeteuk from Super Junior in the process. Kyuhyun will ask some question. (Answer: Yes-No-No-Yes)

After you find all the items, now you can go to the girl's dorm to fetch them. If you forget, the password to enter the dorm is SOS9.
Inside you will need to help Yuri to find her things. Seohyun would tell you about that before, so go find her before you find Yuri. After you help Yuri, she will ask you to permit her to have some fun. Grant her wish! If you have bring sunglasses and handphone, you can directly go to recreation section on the map. Solved the mini game, choose the second option for Hyoyeon's question. Now, you can go to the MBC building to finish the Today's schedule. You need to beat Key if you want to end up this stage perfectly to collect "the secret letter"

WALKTHROUGH ACTION 05

As always, you need to talk to the secretary, both in academy or the office. You can find Mr. Kim too, to get more hint. (He is in the meeting room) After you did all that above, this is what you need to do:
1. Go to academy
> Recording Room > answer Taeyeon's question (Seohyun, Jessica, Tiffany, Taeyeon)
2. Go to Dorm
> Talk with Sooyoung (She will inform you that Seohyun and Yoona went out from this morning to Myung Dong) > Find her handphone (It's in the living room)

After you help her, she will tell you the direction to the airport. (It's Straight-Straight-Right-Left)
3. Go to City Hall
Find YoonA and Seohyun > Beat YoonA in RPS game > Choose Patbingsu
4. Go to Airport (CLICK THE BRIDGE IN MENU MAP)
Go Straight-Straight-Right-Left > Answer SooFany's question: (Tiffany, Taeyeon, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Jessica)

WALKTHROUGH ACTION 06
As always, you need to talk to the secretary, both in academy or the office. Talk with Sooyoung and Donghae too.
1. Go to Academy

Find Jonghyun in the corridor (He will ask you to return his book) > Go to Recording Room > Play with Sunny
2. Go to Office
Go to Canteen > Meet Onew (He will help you to identify Jonghyun's book) >Go to meeting room > Look up for document and the book. CLICK HERE TO VIEW PICTURE

3. Go to Dorm
Meet with Hyoyeon, she will ask for your help to find Yuri's bag. It's red, find it in the academy. CLICK HERE TO VIEW PICTURE

4.Go to Academy
Return Jonghyun's book (He is waiting in the changing room inside the academy), along you also can find Yuri's bag. After that don't forget to return it to Hyoyeon.
5. Go to City Hall
Yuri will ask you to choose the food, (If you've talked with Donghae), you will know to choose Bibimbap.

WALKTHROUGH ACTION 07
You don't need to talk with the secretary, it will bring you right away into KBS building. Yuri will ask you to figure the picture. (Answer: Sica-YoonA-Taeyeon-Sooyoung.)
1. Go outside your starting point.
Look around, don't worry you won't game over because of that. You will meet Kyuhyun, he ask you to find Siwon, while Jonghyun ask you to find Sica.
2. Find Siwon.
He is looking for his sunglasses (It's red), find it from the picture below: CLICK HERE TO VIEW PICTURE

Return it to Siwon, and now you can meet up with Sica, she is in the changing room. (The starting point)

3. Help Jessica and Onew
Sica will ask you to find her shoes, it's in the storage room. After you helped Sica, go find Onew, he is looking for his bag. It's in the same room with Siwon.

4. Finding Krystal
To discover password to go back to this action, you need to find Krystal. She would appear after you help Sica, Onew and Siwon.
5. Go to the stage
Some of you perhaps will face with Donghae's question, others will meet with Krystal for lucky RPS game (Choose paper for bigger winning chance), and lucky one will just need to find Tiffany (She is waiting for ~~her hubby~~ Taeyeon).

WALKTHROUGH ACTION 08
As always, you need to talk to the secretary, both in academy or the office. The secretary will told you what you need to fetch all the girls for recording and that you need to bring your CD to the MV filming.
1. Meet with Sunny and go to the dorm
You need to find Sunny at the academy to the recording room, then she will ask you to go to her dorm to fetch other girls.
2.Back to the recording room
after fetch Tiffany and Jessica, go back to the recording room, you will notice that it's locked and you need to find the key. You can find the key in your office. CLICK HERE TO VIEW PICTURE

3.Answer Yuri's question perfectly
Okay, now you can get inside to the recording room, you will find Yuri and she will ask you to guess four songs name. The first one is oh!, the second one is star star star, the third one is kissing you and the last is I AM.

4.Finding the CD and go to broadcast building
Remember what the secretary said? You need to bring your CD. You can find it in the recording room. After that you can go to the broadcast building and meet with Taeyeon. CLICK HERE TO VIEW PICTURE

5.Help Taeyeon

You can help Taeyeon by finding her lost item, when you return to it, you can go to the studio for MV filming. Inside you will need to win Hyoyeon's mini game. CLICK HERE TO VIEW PICTURE

WALKTHROUGH ACTION 09

Basically you don't need a walkthrough for this action at all. All you need to do is luck, you will be pair up between JESSICA, TIFFANY, TAEYEON and YURI, of course you will find different story line for each of them individually, yet you can try to win the bowling game. (Tips: hit your mouse 0.001 sec faster before it reach the red line bar)
